elixir I didn't know about those hotkeys, I'm going to try them now.

The hotkeys just take me to the cheat page, help page, etc..

that is enough for you to pause the game and conduct your search on the editor
smile.gif

hmmm, isn't that what you want to PAUSE the game in split second?

------------------
Guide to Search a Language Code:-

1) start the game via no$gba
2) We must start of with a "?" search and choose 8bit (this is because we are not sure about the language's value)
3) make a "!" search if language is changed
4) make a "=" search if the language is same
5) repeat the process until you have few results
6) try change the value of the remaining address with 00,01,02,03,04,05,06 and etc
7) if language is changed consider you got a code
smile.gif

Additional Notes:-
1) it could be easier if we can change the language.. otherwise for games that we can't change the language we can only play with "=" sign
2) after starting the game and on the main menu (where language is already determined) make a ? search.
3) play the game a little make another = search
4) reset the game and make a = search
5) and continue playing the game a little make another = search
6) repeat this process, until you got a few results
7) try change the value of the remaining address with 00,01,03,04 and etc

Note: use no$gba RESET CATRIDGE function (under File)

Great, I will check this out now. Hopefully I can work something out. Thank you so far!

Mailenste,
i can't guaranty it will 100% work with the second method but that is the best i can think of
smile.gif

Well, for the moment I'm testing "Cooking_Mama_2_Dinner_With_Friends_EUR_MULTi5_NDS-EXiMiUS", but I don't get really close to a few. It keeps staying like 4000somewhat

...

-Edit- 5 Adresses left!

Mailenste,
i will take a look as well

Thank you so much. I understoof the basics and whats all about with the hexcode. But to come that close is a riddle to me
smile.gif
. As I edited before, I can't get past 5 adresses.

yes i know you said 5 address
have you like trying to change the values of the 5 address?
mind posting the 5 address with their HEX/DEX value ?
hex will always be like 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 a b c d e f

Note: double click on the search result and change the HEX / DEC value

Mailenste,
ARGhHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh.. you have to start all over again
frown.gif
I can't get even close now. It keeps staying 35637465 .....
frown.gif

-Edit- Okay, I got close now. Here is a screen:

No luck here. Don't know what to do

hahahaha
same like how i told you
well what is hard is to determine which value is for which language
smile.gif
But looking at your codes, they look completely different than what I've got. Also before I didn't get any of those numbers. How is that possible?

i too looked at your little faq, and i can't find any language code, even for dragon quest monsters joker.
I passed an hour of playing and can't find less than 900 000 adresses...
It's hard to make thoses codes
blink.gif

It still makes no sense for me. Right now I'm testing "Cooking_Mama_READNFO_EUR_NDS-EXiMiUS". It has Italian, Spanish and German. Even I came down to 8, I can't get it to work. This is making me insane. Dunno what I'm doing wrong, because I do exactly that what the guide is saying ;( ....

Mailenste,
since i had made the code..you can apply the code via no$gba
press f2, paste the code, choose action replay, tick it and ok

you can start practice
smile.gif

for instance if you use deustch as your language which is 03
you can start with ? or 3
change the value from no$gba to 02 - french
then you search with !
change the value back to 03 - deustch
search with !
repeat the process.. you should get my address
smile.gif

another tip for you guys... from my experience a few games that i made language code for
01 is always english (not 100% the case)

so maybe you guys can start the search with 1 instead of ?

I don't understand that exactly. Can you rephrase that a little bit? Sorry ;(.

-Edit-
Another thing I don't get is for example this code: 22196410 00000003

I think it was 196410 3 and you added 7 zeros, but why a 22 and not 02 for the first one?

-Edit 2-
Okay, I did what you said and I think I found your number. It's easy this way maybe because I already know the code, but I still don't understand how you do this without anything. Is there any logic to it or am I just being stupid all the time

whatever you get from emucheat.. you have to add 02 + xxxxxx = 02xxxxxx = typical ARcode format for address
a complete code should be

x= value, y= address

02yyyyyy xxxxxxxx

why is it a 0, 1 or 2 ... it would be better you read the first post..
smile.gif

it explains why and when to use a 8,16,32 bit code
smile.gif

for more info read the following pages on 5-7

i gave a couple examples
