PLEASE PLEASE forgive this apparent noob question....just homebrewed my 8.0.1 and looking for info on how to setup save functions for the roms I play to keep game data light either high scores or progress. Wife loves Harvest Moon but I recall she left her PS1 on for MONTHS due to faulty memory card. Rather save her game data to the 128GB micro card. Much thanks!

If you're using retroarch by default I'm pretty sure it's saving to a folder on the microSD card. No need to worry about it!
I am using Retro and thats what I thought as well. Played a game of Galaga (NES) and made the top score. Didnt ask for initials nor after exiting the game to add more roms to SD to return to the default 30000 high score.
