Hacking 6.3.0-12e install cfw or update to 9.2

Have got my hands on a 3ds firmware 6.3.0. Ano I will be able to get cfw but should I install it on this firmware. Or update to 9.2 with the use of a game then install cfw/
I assume that if I install cfw on 6.3.0 I will be able to update without a game? Thanks in advance and sorry I'm a noob

You should do a cart update to 9.2-11.2

if you can borrow sun/moon from somewhere you can card update to 11.1/2 dunno which one it is with a sumo card and go through plailects guide

I used Planet Robobot to update it to 10.7 after that I downgraded it to 9.2. Worked great.

There's no reason to downgrade to 9.2
Just follow the guide to downgrading to 2.1 and install A9LH

I know but I wanted to play it safe because I've done my o3ds (which was 9.2 sysnand) and the guide was a bit older, and the 3ds (6.something) I've did with Planet Robobot was from my neighbor
