No. You have online gaming with CFW using the PSNLover (1.2) plugin anyways. CFW also already has POPs, and a lot more compatibility with homebrew, plugins, and ISOs.

These new things are for people who can't use a CFW.

I understand, but games like littlebigplanet which need updates to go online. Will only work on 6.20+ firmwares, right?
