Everything can be patched out.
Kheops
No

That's clear.
Not like the tower that is always twisted after repairs ( patch) and this applies in computing

Exemple:
If everything can be patched, then why do we have more windows xp? A direct patch 10, direct x 11 ,direct x12, and hop no more need for windows 10, is that clear too?

You can't easily restore the Joy-con's ota fw.

Also it does not brick the controller.
^ This is illegal if it happened.
Unless there's a reason why they did it, as in if the software updates something on a non modded controller, that then breaks a modded controller, that is not their problem, the only problem is if they purposely try and brick controllers.

What if the Switch is updated without the modded Joycon connected to it? Will the Joycon connect after the update?

When you update the console firmware there is no problem with the joycon. It's when you update the modded joycons firmware there will be connection problems. Do you mean if its physically connected? Either way you will have connection problems. Unplugging joycons battery after updating fixes it.

I see. So the Joycon's firmwaFi isn't updated with the sstems update? Then when and how are the Joycon's Firmware updated?

So... If Nintendo does not force to update the joycon’s firmware, we are safe if we do not do it manually?

I think I’ve never updated the joycon’s firmware ‘hulio’.

Do you mean why do people not patch xp to run everything windows 10 can?

In the old days someone extracted direct x from the windows 2000 beta and people ran that on windows nt 4.

People aren't trying to hack windows xp to run modern games because there it's a lot of work for no real gain.

It doesn't have to do with firmware 6.0 It has to do with firmware 5.0 because Nintendo added a detection method if a joycon would transmit constant RCM. By adding a transistor from pin 7 - 10 or adding a switch or a reed switch prevents all of this. Don't know why this discussion is still going on when it is a thing people knew since firmware 5.0
