God you people are whiny over privileged little turds.
Posts like these are reason enough that people don't deserve this to be released.

People like Hykem have lives outside of Wii-U.
Do you even understand what it takes to find these exploits, to program them, to make them useful.
And then on top of all that - share them with all of us for FREE, when they could have just kept them for personal use.

In all actuality/reality they don't have to release squat, I think you are all actually pretty lucky to have someone continue on with all this. If this was me I would have grown tired of all this and kept this private.
AGAIN, to anybody who cares to listen, WHEN YOU ANNOUNCE A RELEASE DATE AND NOT FOLLOW IT, PEOPLE GET PISSED OFF.

If you actually were reading that status updates that they were putting out there, there was no actual release date specified, more like release time frame and that changed a few times.

They even specified that those could possible change.

No, he stated it would be out before february, YES I'M SURE OF THAT. No maybe, no possibly, a "Yes it will be out by this time."

Okay, so what?
Never got any work delayed? any "homework"? Hm?

Make your own project, get hyped up about it, start talking about it (which yes, everyone is happy to do) and then realize you're gonna need more time/help, and then half way through, lose motivation (yes, human being) these are all very classic steps you go through when working on a project as a hobby.
It really doesnt help when a few people trashtalk about you constantly.
I dont see people whining that much when a game, a mod release, or whatever is delayed. People sometimes have concerns but it doesnt go so ridiculously far.

Here its going far because nobody else wants to work on it, all the pressure is on one person, and its obviously easier to be on the consumer side and whine all day than do something about it.

What if I told you, i am working on finding a kexploit through IDA. But, i will not announce anything until I release it. That way there is no unneccesary hype. Thats how hykem should have done it.

I would say that it's normal to be happy about your findings and its normal to share it and be proud of it.

Why are the same things always repeatedly said here? To all the guys saying "the devs don't owe us anything, they give us things for free, etc" you are absolutely RIGHT! BUT there is another thing that the other users say (including me) and it has nothing to do with what you say. What they say is "there was a release date for IOSU planned (which wasn't sure) for christmas, which didn't work out (and was 100% acceptable by almost EVERYONE here), but what was really bad was that there was a 100% certainty that it will be released before February and many of us bought our Wii U's on 5.5.0, which is our fault of course because we TRUST people." Guess what guys, all I see is speculation and words written in twitter but not an IOSU. If you are not sure about something don't promise ANYTHING. That is a RULE. For example look at Smealum, he hasn't promised to release anything, so if he doesn't none would have a problem with this. And if he does it will be much appreciated by everyone.
