Is there a TVii icon (Red TV) on your home menu but it says 5.5.0/1 in system settings? You're spoofed.

go to settings, than go to eshop....it would wipe out nnupatcher on a 5.4.0 and eshop would stop a spoofed because NeedsNetworkUpdate would still fire.

You don't have to beg in order to get Loadiine support on 5.5.0, just wait, literally the only way you can get Loadiine to work on your Wii U safely is by waiting for the IOSu Exploit Hykem's been making for a while now. Patience is key

Another easy way to check for sure would be to show us the browser version info in the web browser settings.

Well because of that dropbox link, pong and button test now work on my 5.5.0 USA WiiU. Sonicblue and Wj44's versions didn't work but these work all the time

pretty much tricks system into thinking it's on a different fw in this case than it really is.

It's kinda like downgrading except not? Does that work with 5.5.0? Can I spoof to 5.3.2 then? So many questions, also thanks for explaining. I was really confused about what spoofing meant.

it only spoofs to fool the wiiu into allowing you on the eshop without demanding you update. it changes the version number , not the code at all.
