Wow really? That's strange and really interesting at the same time, should tell some of the devs here about this.

Should i start a new thread?
I guess it would be fitting.

Well, that video didn't have a TVii icon, so it means the console was updated to 5.5.0, and since there is no kexploit = no spoof on 5.5.0 it proves that it is a genuine 5.5.1. So, either the developers made a mistake, or someone accidentally discovered a new exploit, not fixed in 5.5.1. In any case, we have a potential 5.5.1 entrypoint already, which means potential IOSU exploit support for 5.5.1 at release. I'd say it's good news :)

TVii was removed in 5.4.0, so for all we know it's just a spoofed 5.4.0 console.

Dziękuje że w końcu uwierzyliście, że to działa na Wii U 5.5.1 bo już miałem się podać i was już nie przekonywać że to działa dobrze

Thank you that I finally believed it would work on Wii U 5.5.1 because I had to give, and you no longer convinced that it works well

So I'm still unclear on all this. The dropbox link is not supposed to work on 5.5.1, right? But what about 5.5.0? Was it always able to work on that firmware?

Does this mean userland exploit was not patched for 5.5.1?
Didn't all the top developers say it was patched on 5.5.1, they did actually check right?? very interesting if true.

LMAO the userland was not patched in 5.5.1
what was patched was the private kernel exploit(which works for 5.5.0, 5.40, and 5.3.2)
the developers must have goofed
LMAO

they should release 2 private kernel exploits to make it up

Alright then whoever asked someone to test on 5.5.0 was wrong. Ignore my post above, then. I would update to 5.5.1 and test it for you guys but I'd rather stay on 5.5.0, sorry :P

What I care about right now is more people testing wupinstaller on 5.4.0 and trying to figure out if large updates are failing because so far it seems like people can only install SMM update (189MB) but larger updates like Splatoon (579MB) are failing no matter how long you let the console sit to install...
