It seems that running mp4 files locally works almost 90% !!!

Nothing is sure my friend. Everyone here is testing for now.

Can you update the first thread to say that the current preferred method for 5.4 is to download the archive and host locally. Seems like that is the way to go. Using my server on the network (same one that you guys connect to), I have only had one failed attempt with the exploit and that just needed a browser cache clear.

I am on 5.4.0E too and the Kernel exploit on sonics site just crashes but on wj44 site it doesnt, which do you have to execute there A or B? Also how do you know if it was succesfull? Thanks.
If the kernel exploit is successful, it will say so on screen and then kick you back to the Wii menu and back into the browser.

And can I use wj's site? It seems working better, but not sure which one to run. Normal kernel exploit or loadiine one
Thanks

I've also found that if you boot directly into the browser from a crash through the quick start menu, it almost always fails, however, if you launch the browser from the Home Menu and do the kexploit it seems to run almost all the time.

Yeah it happened to me also almost every time!!!

I know I know but there are two options: Press A for Normal Kernel Exploit
Press B for Loadiine/Dumpiine Kernel Exploit
Which one? :D
Oh, I didn't know it did that, I just used the regular kernel bin file hosted locally. If you want to launch loadiine, use the loadiine one, otherwise use the other for everything else.

Before it was barely working 5% of the time but now the kernel exploit seems to be working 90% of the time with that archvie you posted, however nnu has not worked once for me yet (I'm running wupinstaller once first).

Guys pay attention to the region of your system also. My system have E (Europe) firmware. In my system the 05sonicblue files run smoothly but wj44 don't work for me. I am not sure about what I am telling you right now but you should keep that in mind just in case

But just to be clear do you have to do this everytime or just one time?
Every time you boot the console it has to be done.

Anyways, managed to spoof the eShop and bought FAST Racing NEO, now to deal with getting my game updates. Am I able to download them through the eShop or must I install them through the WUP Installer?

Just to clarify, by run once I mean only visit the url once, then visit the locally hosted NNU url.
If that's not working, try loading up your browser, clearing cookies, closing it down, turning off your system with the gamepad power button, boot it back up and try the method again.
