5.4 here, when hosting the files locally with HFS, I was able to load the kernel with no errors, when I go to load payload.mp4 , it freezes in the media player.
any ideas? what's the best method to host the files, and with what software or app? when I tried to run them off a site, it froze on the media player when loading the kernel.

That's because it's not supposed to work in its current state. The changes required to run Loadiine likely won't be implemented into v4 anymore, as v5 is already working and soon to be released, so relax.
Thats true, the other changes that are required run 5.4 are fairly substantial, this meets the minimum requirements to get the elf files downloaded. 5.4 users will have to wait for GX2 before seeing any other compatibility increase.

Payload.mp4 doesn't work with HFS. Use mongoose instead. You can enable file listing, so you don't need to create a html file with links.

There are 2 kinds of kernel, but for loaddine you need run only "kernel for loadiine" before run loadiine.

Great, thanks. should I use mongoose to host both files kernels?

Uhm sorry to say but it does work with HFS
At least it does here.

I also host fs532.elf, loader532.elf and menu532.elf with HFS at the same time and I see HFS access those bin files after I loaded the payload.mp4 on the WII-U so maybe hosting the bin files as well will do the trick.

Edit:
Beside those files I only host the kernel files and the v2 loadiine, no html files

And
Not true. I use local payload.mp4 every day hosted with HFS
I'm with 5.4.0E PAL console and I tried both windows 8.1 and raspberry openelec 6.0 to host files.

With HFS all MP4 exploits works well (both kernel, loadiine v2, wupinstaller and remove update), but loadiine v3 payload.MP4 in a folder with elfs freezes)
With openelec vfs same result
With Moongose works everything.

Both windows and openelec are wired.

This is my experience and I apologize if this information is not helping anyone

this is so far what I've tested, there are some of them still downloading
any recommendation for other games worth playing ?

Are the X's supposed to be games you say don't work with the current version? Cause I was just playing USA Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze today with Loadliine v3 on 5.4

This seems to happen randomly without much rhyme or reason. For me, anything hosted on sonicblue's server would freeze but I could get some of the stuff on the wj44 server to work. I self-hosted sonicblue's mp4s and that has given me the best success, although not 100%. It still freezes sometimes. I would recommend trying to get simple stuff like Hello World and Pong working before testing one of the kexploits because they seem to be a lot less finicky. Once you have the easy stuff working you can try to diagnose your problem better.

I cannot extract a .wud file for the life of me and I was hoping to get some help. Apologies if I should have posted this in a different thread. I have multiple games I've tried to decrypt and I can't, using Uwizard or VGMtoolbox. In Uwizard, I have the game "opened" (the cover image loads) and both the common key and the title key verifies, but every time I click extract, it says "Error Extracting Files!" In vgmtoolbox, it seems to see both of the .bin keys but when a drag a .wud file on it, it says "Partition TOC signature bytes not found." I've spent hours on this in frustration. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
For anyone else having this issue, I needed to download the 32bit version of MS Visual C++ Redistributable package.

Depending on quality of your wireless connection where is your WiiU and your Wireless hotspot/router, and your Internet connexion, that will have some impact to run exploit, running exploit from local host you'll have better response time (ping 1-4ms) then internet.
