Hacking 5.05 to 6.72 best guide?

Hi all
Even though I'm aware 7.02 is here, thinking of finally moving from 5.05 to 6.72 now it seems to be pretty stable. What is the best guide in order to do this? I've only used Mira HEN before, and I'm after advice for the best solution for 6.72 as I'm aware there appear to be several options.

afaik, it's basically the same process. just update as normal, load exploit, cache it, turn off internet, then play.

you must delete the old cache first by deleting history, cookies, cache iirc to put something new into cache.

If you have update blocker on 5.05 run the update blocker disabler 1st. Then get 6.072 OFW firmware and put on a USB drive in PS4/UPDATE/file goes here - Update from XMB or recovery.

enable update's first to delete fake dummy update file it you disable update from exploit menu on 5.05

No biggie. My issue is I haven't flashed my ps4 in so long, I can't remember what it is I did as I'm not on it all the time nor do I do it consistently. So, it was a hit it right and forget it type thing. What I'm looking for is the best tutorial for 5.05 to 6.72. Even if it's a simple run down of Start here, grab this file, put it in this directory on your flash drive, run this, connect to this, etc, etc and you can now use 6.72's HEN.

I don't trust any of the youtube tutorials I've seen, or their files. There is no real way to tell if they're legitimate. I'd also like to figure a decent tutorial on backing up my current firmware incase it bricks.

It seems that since everyone knows this stuff and are used to doing/using it, they've forgotten what it was like to not know, like I don't.

post 2 is basically it. then, you have to go to a website or use self-hosting. I have a tutorial on doing it with the sandisk connect. otherwise, look in @KiiWii 's guide to see how you install cache for a particular exploit, though it may be different depending on website or self-host.

Update what as normal? Who is normally updating? I never update when I play any games, I just run HEN. And this could wrongly imply the firmware through sony, which is bad and implying whomever reads it that they know what you mean.

If there is a link to a tutorial on 5.05 to 6.72 and it's the best one, just link it. No side crap, just that. I don't understand the confusion. Otherwise, why not just explain it to him here so it can be done with out fail. That would be great, and also solve what the OP is looking for (and myself).

it's not hard bud
1 go here and download firmware https://sce.party/ps4/firmwares
2 get a usb format to fat32 or exfat make a folder called PS4 inside make a second folder called UPDATE place PS4UPDATE .pup inside update folder
3 turn wifi off on ps4 and enable updates
4 plug usb into ps4 then update via safe mode or update menu
done
