Ok I know people have been saying about something that decreases the slowdowns in games by changing something. Ok I have looked around but what do I change to actually activate this feature.

Go to the Recovery Menu under Configurations the last setting I think

On a related note...

I had it set to ALWAYS and after a while of playing Star Ocean Second Evolution I dropped back to the XMB and I noticed that the MS size was reported as 0 MB and I could not access the Memory Stick! I fixed it by disabling the Speed Up Option and rebooting.

So just be cautious have your stuff backed up and don't freak out when shit disappears

NOt to be a total noob but how do you get to the recovery menu?

when the psp is turned of (not stand by) hold the r button and turn your psp on (keep holding the r button) once there release the R
