yay!! just beat the whole damn game
man, chaos is a bitch..no way you can beat him with just strategically equipping shields and crowns
you need to grind the sh*t out of the game
I finished it at level 74

time to move on to lufia

Wow...Im actually surprise to see other who find this game difficult, but of course I will take some things I've read here and hopefully I won't be turned away from this extremely challenging game

When you max out a crown, is there anything special with it, other than getting the last ability? I know in other class-based final fantasy games, when you maxed out the class, you'd be able to use some of the abilities of that maxed class while you set yourself as another class, so you could mix and match. But when I got my first diamond, I found that this wasn't the case with this game.

Am I right in assuming that maxing out a crown doesn't lead to benefits of that crown when using other crowns? If that's the case, then I put myself through a lot of crap by having my groups full of merchants for most of my game-play to farm gems when I could have used other crowns for easing up the fights. Just past Rolan on the game.

nope, after you max out a crown all you get is the last ability, if you switch crown than you get none of that ability/stats from your maxed crowns
you have to learn to fight without crowns because towards the end it'll come in handy
