Hacking 4 GB MicroSDs...

I'm considering about getting a new MicroSD.

I currently have a 1GB which is almost near filled up (100 mb left)

I'm looking for at least 2 GB, until the 4GB Sandisk showed up.

I know they probably won't work.. But is there any chance that it might? 4 GB is just... Explainable by itself. (=P)

~R4 will never get SDHC support; correct?

It is most likely that it will never support SDHC cards.
Your best choice is for a Japanese 2GB Card (Toshiba manufactures them, and gives them to Kingston and PNY)

I think it's just not worth the risk if you're buying a 4gb sd card for the ds alone. It's pretty expensive and if it doesn't work, what else are you doing to do with it?

i tried the 4GB SDHC card from sandisk in my R4 and it hangs on the loading screen.

I guess that the 2 gig is the biggest you can go. Too bad... I have a lot of stuff that I want to cram onto my R4 too, but I just have to swap them in and out.
