Hi i need some help i have softmod my black wii 4.3U.

with the softmod guide http://gbatemp.net/t237997-downgrading-ios...-4-3-virgin-wii?

but after the soft mod the wii is slow and they have a bad sound bzzzzzzz ( in the menu and in the games).

So i try to restore IOS 15 and uninstall CIOS 202 222 223 249 250.

but the bzzzz is here again so anyone have a solution for me .

thanks.

hmmmmm my wii is very slow to lately. I dont know why all apps are slow and I get lots of code sumps. Does this happen to you? What games do you get buzzing on?

Yes high pitch noise in the system menu and in the games (all games)
no i have not install IOS80
no core dump at all

so im better to run DOP-Mii ? any tutorial about DOP-Mii ?

Sounds more like the wii hardware is damaged, because it's everytime there, not only in system menu.

if it's a hardware problem anyway to be sure that all ios and homebrew software are delete so i will be able to send it back for repair.

thanks

You can't fully delete homebrew, nintendo will find it, if you want or not.

Do you have a usb drive attached? I've had a problem before where a usb drive with a bad power supply was causing screen and sound interference.

No usb hdd connect to the wii already try and with sd card remove same problem and i have try another input same tv (at home i will try another tv)

sometime after a lot of stop and start problem gone but when i try another stop and start buzz sound again

USB Drives sometime cause interference also, even if it´s too close to Wii console.

You can, by formatting it.
Did that today

So the buzzing sound isn't coming from the TV, but the Wii itself whenever a disc is spinning? Then I believe I had this problem on my launch Wii (after over a year of no probs). It ended up being just minor disc drive damage that had no impact on anything, cept making that obnoxious buzzing sound constantly. Trying to fix it myself ended up in a busted disc drive and a trip to Ninty.

formatting is dangerous and leaves a ton of homebrew on the Wii.

Yes, but they rather than "see" onscreen what Wii had installed, they open it up, then do diagnoses to NAND (wii´s main memory chip)

If you want to remove homebrew do the following:
update through Nintendo to the newest system menu, install all IOSs on nus to your Wii, even the stubs. Uninstall such things as custom channels and priiloader and last but not least uninstall the HBC and it's savegame and bootmii boot2 if you have it.
There, done. There should be no trace of homebrew left.
