I recently got my wii. Is a black edition and i have softmodded it and installed HBC, Priiloader and waninkoko's cIOS 249. The last thing i believe im missing is a USB loader and the one i want to use is GX. I am currently trying to install it with a 250 GB Digital Western disc. Its completely formatted so i doubt it matters. I used this guide http://www.completesoftmodguide.tk/backup-.../usb/gx/readmii and i am completely stuck on step 4. I splitted the disc in 2 partitions or how you write it with FAT32 as the first one and NTFS as the second one. I used the installer i got from the GX website and installed it on the FAT32 partition and got the newest .dol and wad file and renamed the .dol file to boot.dol replacing the one currently in there and putted the .wad file inside the wad folder at root folder. Now i just run the file through HBC but it always ends up with the Error Code DSI or something and lots of code dump filling 2/3 of the screen. Anyone know what i did wrong or can give me a better and more detailed and specific step for step guide? It's as if the files is up to date but not the guide...

Ur problem is called USB LOADER GX,,, is unstable atm and not a safe Loader.
Try using CFG USB Loader or Wiiflow. Both will fix ur problem, propably

Thanks for help! Got it worked up and backing up and playing games smoothly! Im going to set up a channel for it now but i got a quick question. Is it possible to boot apps through the HDD instead of my SD card?

EDIT: Fixed it. Just had to reformat and create a FAT32 disc. Thanks for all help! Love this forum as always
