I have this virgin 4.2, Then I used bannerbomb to install bootmii as boot2 and IOS then after finished installing bootmii I can't go to system menu... It just gives me a black screen and I can't sync my wiimote.... Help!!

tried it... If theres no SD card it would automatically load system menu but since my system menu broke

nope... I've done absolutely nothing... is there any cios249 installer w/GC controller support??

answer my question and maybe I'll answer yours... help me help you (by answering my questions!!)

edit:
i'm seriously starting to get frustrated... so many people don't describe their problem properly in the first post, then when I ask for more info my Q's get ignored! fyi, this isn't directed only at HiRuMi, so don't take it too personally

okay, just in case, make a nand backup of your wii (although this will probably be garbage, but just in case, its especially important to have a backup of your wii's keys)

then use the HBC to launch YAWMM. Then proceed to reinstall your system menu and system menu IOS, then u should be able to access the system menu

note that YAWMM has GC support, u can download the files u need to install using nus auto downloader (or the original nusd)

I can't install any wads yet because I haven't installed cIOS 249 and most installers require wiimotes to install...

strange... Still doesn't work... Do I have to install any other IOSes besides the System Menu??

In what order?... If it doesn't matter then still not working

EDIT: Tried both ways but still not working.... DAMN!! WTFs wrong with my wii dammit >__>....

do u have a nand dump from b4 the problem started? probably not since installing bootmii supposedly caused the problem

download my nus auto downloader, run it, type 4.2, then enter, then U, then enter, then follow the prompts until it finishes downloading a bunch of wads, then copy the wads to your sd card and install them all, and hopefully ur wii starts working

if that doesn't work, u could try comex's nand formatter, but research it heavily before using it, and make sure to install all the essential files, including EULA, RegionSelect, IOS36, IOS70, 4.2U System menu, etc.

btw, because your bootmii @ boot2 is still working, u should be able to use an emulated nand (ie. SNEEK), so worst case scenario, u can still access the system menu that way

edit: u dont have priiloader installed right? r u sure u didn't do anything else other than install bootmii, i still find it hard to believe installing bootmii caused these problems... I think its a lot more likely u r mistaken (no offense)

Well... My Wii turned off by itself while I was dumping my NAND... But I don't think thats the problem... Maybe its because of my (crappy) 3rd party AC adapter?...(It really looks like shit... like its made by a 10 year old)

EDIT: The AC adapter causes my Wii to turn off automatically every 5 mins and have to wait like 10 mins before playing... (still looking for the official one which is hard to get here)

EDIT2: OK now I really think its the AC adapter... Conversation closed....

ummm, ok, i dont think there's is any solution u can implement in under 5 minutes...

so until u get a new AC adapter there is nothing we can do

heck, for all a know a new ac adapter might fix your problem, maybe it wasn't a blackscreen u were experiencing but power problems... i don't know... but either way, there's nothing u can do until u get the right hardware

Sorry... But does anyone know other factors that can cause this?... Don't think I can find an AC adapter anytime soon...
Cause I can access the system menu before installing Bootmii just fine with the (crap) AC adapter... And right after installing BootMii and my Wii turning off itself while dumping NAND, I can't access the system menu anymore.
If anyone have any idea whats causing this please share with me.
