Awesome work! I've been waiting (very patiently) for the automatic 2d/3d/disc art creation feature, and I can't wait to try it!

I would like to make a feature request, if I may: add support to change region shown on cover.
It should be easy to do and it would be very nice if the region shown on the cover was accurate. It may be possible to automatically detect the region from the wad, I'm not sure, but even if you could manually select a region (even if only by naming wad to end with region code eg. "World of Goo [NTSC-U].wad", or some other way to designate what region the wad is from).

I have some coding background, and I understand that every little "easy" feature takes time (sometimes lots of time [IMG] ), so I just want to say thanks in advance and kudos for all of your hard work!

Also, are you planning on automating the process at all? I don't have much time but I was thinking that if you're not planning on adding batch processing/automation I could probably write a few scripts and maybe even a little gui to provide this (entering the same info over and over gets a little bit old after a while [IMG] )

    Thanks again, great app!

When Wii64 or WiiSX (or the two) has NTFS USB support, i´ll will change for that.

    This looks great.

Can the forwarders launch WiiWare/VC games that have been moved to an SD card?

Also, do they work with USB Loader GX?

if i understand correctly i could make an ISO that forwards to a certain wad?

like i could make and ISO that forwards to super mario world and then put it on my WBFS partition and it will load super mario world through my usb loader?

if so that is really cool.

    i just watched the video.

sorry i got too excited after just scanning the first post.

so would it be possible to forward to a gamecube ISO?

that could solve the USB gamecube problem thing if i'm thinking this through.

    though i'm probably not.

    oh well i can dream.

Very nice idea. With this you can get almost independant from the System Menu.
One quick question of mine is: How big is one of those ISO's (in trimmed state ofc)? I expect something like 52MB when the WAD is ~40MB. Does this fit?

The isos are only around 2MB, if you have installed the wads to Triiforce. I'm pretty sure that is what this app does as well. I have created all the isos for NTSC region, its about 190, very small files.

I cant wait for V5! I need the cover creator! Thanks again for your hard work spayrosam.

How did you get the ISO's 2MB each? I tried several things with several programs now and come up with 32MB ISO's or 4MB .wbfs converted files thats the best i can get, Mind sharing? Also does your Big Kahuna Party ISO work? I cant get that one to work, i got it to finish with this program but it code dumps not sure why

This would be ultimate if only it could incorporate the functions of partition builder and wiiscrubber, or somehow use passing arguments to the programs (dunno if they have any such support)..... For people like me that have over 300 WW/VC wads creating all the forwarders and covers would take forever. For now I'm waiting for v5 only for the "covers only" option since I dont have to enter any information, and I used that macro script to convert all my *.wads to iso/dol. The downside to using that script is I dont think it adds banners to the iso correctly so it just shows a black screen for like 10 seconds before it loads the game.

So I think what I'm saying is, can't it be done to have it able to just 1 click to create all iso/dol/covers from a set of wads?
Second, we need a good place to put these covers online, and then set the url of the full covers in cfg-usbloader's cfg file so that it auto downloads the images (Unless there is one that cfg can use already-let me know).

I'm tryna figure out now why adding some covers made all my other covers in cfg look skinny...

Edit: I found the fix for returning to system menu from WW games was to delete a specific ticket from the nand backup (systems full reboots)... This only works for WW titles and not VC titles though, which just black screen and require hard reset. Is this something that can be fixed? Not sure if it is a triiforce bug or what but if you manage to make this all 1-click then thats the only remaining annoyance with using triiforce iso forwarders inside a usbloader.

It may make this much simpler for you to make 2 seperate programs, 1 to make the ISO/Dol's and a Second for making covers (named as the title ID)

I guess my general idea of how the cover making process should go is:

    make iso/dol:
    1. ctrl+a in a folder full of wads
    2. drag them to dol/wad maker
    3. click start and afk
    4. find dols in "finished/triiforce/" and isos in "finished/isos"

    make covers:
    1. ctrl+a in a folder full of wads
    2. drag them to cover maker
    3. click start and afk
    4. have all covers in "finished/covers/{type}" once all are processed and named as the title ID from wad

I also want to add that this is an amazing job you've done so far. If I can learn a little more about how to extract all the TPL's and the Title ID and then Convert tpl to png/jpg in the next few days I may try to paste together tidbits from various program sources and make this happen the way I envision it, starting with customizeMii (has functions to find titleID and extract all tpls and source is available) Then its just using the method you have developed to piece them together in the right place after converted. (I know I make it sound easy but man after all the work it wud be pro.)

Some of the people I'd like to see give some input and possibly help you with this:

    WiiPower
    WiiCrazy
    Leathl

P.S sorry for long post lol... any help i can give let me know, and If i develope something useful for you ill be sure to share it.
