    Is it possible to play 3GP videos on the dstwo?

    I have trouble with 3GP videos. Even VLC would refuse to play any I got. If 3GP doesn't work, be aware that it might not be the flashcart's/video player's fault.

    when i put them on the sdcard they are invisible to the iplayer
    but other video formats are not, e.g. FLV

    It's a specific cellphone format, you'll want to convert it.

    when I convert it to flv or mp4 using FFConvert its about 4 times bigger in filesize, but the resolution is the same,
    am I using bad settings?

    No, it's that 3GP is really shitty video, so when you convert it to something better by default the better compression stores more data. You can lower the bitrate without much of an issue.

    oh yes thanks I reduced the bitrate and frame rate
