Does the 3dslink work for you? It doesn't matter which compiled 3dsx I would like to execute, it connects without any problem but then it crashes with ARM11 core dump information being displayed. I would like to test old project of mine, but even examples from the devkitPro are not working with 3dslink. Although executed directly from the Homebrew Launcher are working okay. I'm running this on new3DS XL with 11.2 (E) firmware under latest Luma3DS (B9S). Is this a regression or am I missing something? If someone needs a core crash dump, I can post that. Thank you in advance.

You're on Luma3DS 8.0+ (builds with Rosalina), right?

Make sure you're using this version of the homebrew launcher, and that you have the HBL .cia set to your default. I had trouble launching .3dsx files through 3dslink as well until I finally updated my homebrew launcher (I was using Masher's Gridlauncher up until then). Netloading works like a charm, now.

Thank you for reply. Yes, I'm using Luma3DS 8.0+ with built-in Rosalina module and the default homebrew launcher that came from the 3ds guide when I was setting my CFW. As for now I'm using Citra for running the code but I would like to utilize my real hardware like I did this in the past with PSP (it was so cool device to write homebrew on). I'll try to use that particular version of homebrew launcher and I will post the results.

@SnowStormAkikaze, Yes. Cross-compatibility with the Original Switch games will work with the Switch 2.

@BigOnYa, Maybe. Depends if Nintendo wanted to expand the lifespan of the console. But with every console that they release, it usually gets discontinued after 10-12 years.

These so-called 'media stories' often make predicaments about when or what is going to happen, whereas it could be the total opposite.

Support from big n may stop aka new firmwares, but devs will prob continue making games for it as long as sales are good.

New firmwares are only there to prevent piracy/softmodding hardware, they do not "enhance the user experience" as they claim so on and so forth. And if they decide to add new features to the system via firmware updates, then it's quite rare.

Games are still released on PS4\ XboxOne, so I imagine will be same scenario.
