Hacking 3DS?

So I have been using my Acekard2i for about a year problem free, but about a week or so ago my 3DS updated. Ever since then I can't do anything with it. I don't have a dsi so I haven't tried it in one, but when I put in in my 3ds the "Chessmaster" logo still pops up and I can still load the cart, but after it does it says I have encountered an error and to consult the instruction manual. Any fixes?
