Can Somebody tell if the 3DS has a Micro SD slot because I own the original M3 and I want know if I can use my 8 gigabyte Micro SD on it. This would be much appreciated.

Cheers

what do you mean buy section
He means you made this thread in the Reviews section, which is used for reviews, not questions that are answered on own Nintendo's site.

You should be in possesion of a Micro SD reader if you have a flash cart. If not, get one.

Very few devices other than flash carts have a built-in microSD reader. You should have a microSD-to-SD adapter that came with the microSD. Use that.

Grab one of those MicroSD to SD adapters. They're like 5 bucks at any store.
Not a single store I've been to has one. I've always had to get them by buying another MicroSD card for the bundled adapter.

$0.99 with free shipping on Amazon
Store as in RadioShack, Best Buy, Target, etc. Not an internet store. You can get anything on the internet.

I might have seen one in the Shack, but it was probably a bundle like you said. If you can only get it via physical store, I'd probably buy a cheap 1GB MicroSD bundle

I've never owned a microSD card that hasn't come with an adapter STANDARD. Seriously, didn't even think they sold them seperately as every purchase of one online or in-store has come with... In fact, most regular SD cards these days are just microSD cards stored in regular SD card cases (pry one made in the last year or two open and see). It's actually cheaper to produce them that way.

As for only flashcarts using microSD... Guess you don't own a cell phone.
