Hardware 3DS Won't Start Up

I modded my old 2DS and it worked fine. Now I can't get the system to start up. With the SD card inserted, pressing the Power button makes it flash for a second, then fade away. Did I just brick my 3DS by adding a random file?
And yes, if anyone asks, I tried recovery mode, which also had the same results.

Nevermind. I just realized that I can't start up the console with the SD card inserted, but for some reason, it works fine without it.

Try downloading boot.firm from Luma 9.1 again and replacing the one on your SD card, maybe it got corrupted
