Homebrew 3DS Virtual Console game save extraction

Before I begin, I must apolagise if this post is in the inncorrect section. I'm still relatively new here and am learning the ropes.

My question pertains to the topical title; is it possible?

I'm hoping there is a way to do this for the gameboy color vc games and ultimately transfer them over to my local hard drive on my computer.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Your best option is to use savedatafiler. Go to 3dsdb.com to get the unique I'd for the game you want to extract. I used this to edit pokemon yellow saves.

Yeah like the dude above said you can use savedatafiler or JK save manager. I recommend using JK save manager because it shows you what game you are backing up instead of the numbers and letters.
