Again thank you so much, I'm really looking forward the next version!
And here it is! B-)
Uploaded Version 2.3 Release Candidate 1 at Filetrip!

Change log (v2.3_RC1):
- Reverted most changes to 2.2
- Added FAQ Box
- Added Volume Setting
- Added General Tab
- Added Informations to all Sliders

Edit: Found a Bug, uploaded it again with the same version (only 3 people downloaded it so far)

Oh, and as always: Please report any bugs you encounter.
Wow that was faster than I expected! And it works wonderfully, thanks a bunch Neku!

Would it be too much to ask to add a feature that automatically hardsubs subtitles with everything kept intact? (Font, size, location and timing)

I've never seen even a general video converter program do it correctly without fiddling with tons of options.

Uff, that's hard and I don't want to bloat my software with too many features. And the conversion would need twice as long. Would have to add a second encoding Tool. This may be an option when ffMpeg adds this feature.
Whenever I need hardcoded subtitles, I use Handbrake. It's very easy: Just add a video select the correct subtitles click on burned in, convert it and you're done.
Until now, this worked for every Video i converted so far without messing anything up. I found many with Fonts, Effects or sppecial characters like ÄÖÜ's missing after the conversion.

Ah Handbrake. Can't remember if I bothered to try it out for hardsubbing as I discovered it after my hardsubbing dilemma was over.

I used to watch anime on my DSlite. The videos had to be at 256x192, 15fps and had awful quality. Through days of trial and error I finally got the method down. Split the video/audio, convert them both seperately to very specific settings, then combine them again.

I'm having a strange problem. I have a file called Half Over Under, so I assume the top-down option should convert it. When it says it converted, though, it shows no file in the output section. I go into the folder that has the movie converter program, and it shows two new files LEFT and RIGHT, where the left's file size is 0 and the right's is about 60mb......any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

Please don't think because of the title which fileformat the Video is. Be sure that the Video IS in 3D by looking at it and finding out the type of the video. And make sure you use the latest version of the Converter. You can either use 2.2 or 2.3_RC1.

Yep I checked to make sure it was a top/down 3d movie. Even after rechecking to make sure .net framework was installed properly, the program still never created a file. Googled it and tried another version and it worked fine *shrugs* yours works great for sbs though :)

Never really tested Top-Down Conversion because it is very rare, just used the parameters which should have worked. Seems like you're even the first person who noticed it.
Maybe will even remove top-down Mode when this isn't working.
BUT: If you want to see this feature in further versions: PROVE ME WRONG! (Or help me out finding the bug)

Hey Neku, much appreciation for you to make this program. Bet you $5 that someones gonna use it for naughty videos. But quick questions, I'm a noob with stuff like this so bear with me. Can mp4's be converted (which is what I'm using) and is it normal for 2-3 minute videos to take 10-30 mins to convert??

Nope, that isn't a bug, the video you are trying to convert just has Left and Rigth swapped. That mean's the Video for the left eye is on the right side and vice versa.
Since it can be easily added I will consider this feature in the next Version. B-) You can expect a new version during the next Week: V2.3

Ok I got this 288mb 10 min file but the 3DS can't seem to find it. Does that mean the 3DS has a file size read limit?

*Edit

Okay I put more of the parts on the sd card but it can only find one file and it dates it to 01/01/1900. I read on page two that somebody had sort of the same problem. Is there a fix for this?

And great job Neku! Now I can brag to my friends that I have a 3D tv. :D
When the 3DS runs homebrew are you going to make a video application?

As far as I know the date is stored in the Metatag of the video in an unknown format and because converted videos doesn't have these tags the 3DS just says 01/01/1900. So there's no fix for this. Besides I find that really comfortable when your own videos don't mix up with the ones you've taken with your 3DS. Besides I'm still trying to find a way to put custom Text on the Preview Images on the 3DS.
And if you only see only one part of the Video are you sure you use the newest Version? I recommend V2.3_RC1. If you already tried this: Is it a 2D or a 3D Video. 3D conversion still seem to have bugs since I can't test it enough because I have only 3D-Youtube Videos to test, which work's perfectly for me.
And IF there will be sometime a way to run Homebrew I would leave the work to the Homebrew-Experts out there since I'm only good in Visual C# (Windows only) and some Java (Most devices, but no 3DS).

Ok SO I had a bunch of 3D videos downloaded (Lots of IMAX 3D documentaries on the internet... and porn! LOL)

SO I had this one video, It was a side by side video, encoded it using your prog, all went fine, placed in the DS, worked like a charm... now I didnt have much space left in my SD card so I took the video out and back in my computer 'cuz I wanted to try other videos... I renamed the video from VID_0001 to the movie title. I then encoded several other movies, I placed them all on my SD card and none of them are detected... thats weird...

I placed the first video back into my DS, the one that worked... and now the DS doesnt detect it at all... OK I figured maybe it's the name... I renamed the first movie Back to VID_0001 and The DS does detect it, So ok, I let all the other videos named VID_**** but the DS doesnt detect it... whats up? I checked and compared the video that works to the others that doesnt, and I cant see anything different, same resolution, same quality, same settings... the only thing different is the time... the video that works is a 7min video, while the others were longer videos but chopped in 9min59sec parts.

Maybe there is still an error converting 3D-Videos longer than 10 minutes (2D works fine), but did you tried the latest version V2.3_RC1? If yes, than wait for the next version coming next week.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
