ya i just let it finish and it gets everything done. i was kind of doing that too but i just let it wait. definitely great job. watched all of resident evil 3d and xmen 3d so far and worked great. got each 10 min segment and they worked real well. does anyone know the limits for fps and bitrate, as well does ones power affect the other for lowering one and making the other higher? basically does what is the best combination for the two?

yea i can confirm converting movies works great with they actually come out really well even when they are already converted for evo 3D before hand. but whenever I got videos from youtube, when i tried it in the beginning of the update, I didnt think they were that good compared to the movies.. where can we get good gameplay videos in 3D? all the ones i tried converting for for like uncharted 3 trailers and the killzone 3 videos never came out that well. are there even any other good places to get them?

Great work SifJar I real glad the work you have put into this application It's awesome hm now all it realy need is some coding to convert anaglyph straight to 3DS 3D video format

ffmpeg can easily add a subtitle stream to a video, but the 3DS can/does not read one.
You would have to hard code the subtitles before conversion using other software.

right, what I meant is that ffmpeg not support hard coding subs (embedded subtitles). (I dont know if "embedded subtitles" is the word for this, my english is bad xD)

Can anyone help me? I end up with left and right avi's as well as the temp avi but nothing else happens. All 3 progress bars are full so I should see split files I'm assuming.

Nevermind it seems to keep processing and splitting files but takes a long long time to do it.
I already wrote that the last split process is still not observed by the final progress bar. So it can take some time till the done-window pops up even if the final video progress bar is already full. Now that amzg implemented my changings in his version (great job btw ;)) it's a good starting situation to improve that. Give me some time to make it perfect  .

sorry to ask again, I cant seem to find the older post, but to change the date of the video files you need a program correct?

i am going to try anyway, its just changing the creation date correct, or is there another option on that program i am missing.

Hi guys, your program works very well ! I use it to convert 2D videos to my 3DS. But to keep the same ratio than on the original video, I have to use virtual dub and first resize my original video to the 3DS screen (400 pixels width) and add a letterbox effect to get a final 400*240 video. Then I use your program to convert it to the 3DS format and to split it (that's great :) ).
So my question is : could you add to your GUI a new width/new height option and a expand frame to letterbox box option to fit the 3DS screen ? Does ffmpeg accept these commands ?

Im working in this option ;)

EDIT: all fixed

ffmpeg can automatically letter box videos, simply specify the aspect ratio of the video with "-aspect". For example: a 640x480 video can be converted to a letter boxed 400x240 video by using "-s 400x240 -aspect 4:3".

That said, I don't believe the video needs to be 400x240. If you saw my earlier post, 4:3 videos can be converted to a resolution of 320x240 and the 3DS will play them centred on the screen.
