When everything is connected. Touch also suddenly stops working. The sound also does not work properly. Sometimes I can not increase the volume. Sometimes there is no sound at all

Later I will try again to test everything

ok, I would not waste my time on the motherboard like that, it's either internally cracked or has CPU failure, so it's virtually impossible to fix the board like that. Juts get a replacement motherboard from aliexpress, and don't waste your rime, you'll never be able to get it working properly

After reassembly. The screen has stopped scrolling itself!!!. But works only: c-stick, home, L R buttons.
No sound and no touch

well, if the touch screen and analog joystick both work and you have sound through the speakers, then the IC chip is probably fine. The older revision of the motherboard is CTR-CPU-01, and under the game slot you'll find the array of resistors (outlined in E and F grids). On newer revisions of the boards, all of those are missing and just replaced with golden plates. So, if you have an older revision board - you'll need to remove R118 resistor first, if that doesn't help, then remove R54 and it should stop scrolling

I did that you say because my problem is the same that OP. And now I have the problem (don't disappear) and my top-screen don't show anything, but 3D led is on yet. The flex isn't problem because I test other motherboard in my 3DS and top screen works, so... you recommendation for remove resistors don't work for me and now my top-screen with that motherboard don't work.

Hi all, Does anyone fixed this issue on New 3ds? In my case I've tested console with unplugged touchscreen, dpad, analog and c-stick and all I have got was this problem with menu scrolling downwards, only different thing is that when I press the c-stick hard enough it will stop scrolling, but I suspect it's d-pad, after playing some RE mercenaries (where c-stick is not used) I saw that game menu still scrolls down but I can play the game without issues (d-pad is not used, I guess). Do I really need to buy a new motherboard to fix it?

Have you tried unplugging the c-stick and trying?

no, need to replace it, as I said, in later revisions of the board, all those resistors are completely gone, so they not necessary for the D-pad to function properly
Hey I know this is really old but I have this same exact problem and I’m REALLY new to this. I see where the chips r54 and r118 are labeled but where are they. Are they under the black square thing...oooorrr......

thank you if you ever read this.
