Hardware 3ds randomly posters off

I have a 3ds xl and recently it randomly turns off.

There are no mods or gateway used on this 3ds. I did have a flash cart in it but it's not in use.

While playing games from the store on the console itself the console will turn off. It's always after a random amount of time. I could play for a half hour and turn off with no issues or can put it on and play 10 mins and it will shut itself off.

This can happen after a few hours charge or when low on battery.

I had this same issue with my ndsl and changed the battery but the problem persisted. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

If it happens even when it's plugged in, it sounds like something is wrong internally. A loose connection or a short somewhere.

I never played with it plugged in but I might try that.

It's 4.5 European fw if that helps

I'll try that, will order the screwdriver (lost my old one lol)
