Uh...
Sell their current 3DS and buy another of whatever region the country they're going to is?

second hand ds' ae worth less, so this will probably costs about £50 (about $75).

I will just buy it already.
Game not coming out in *whatever country*? Probably sucks.
Game doesn't suck? Get a flash card. (if it comes out)

and i wanted to avoid flashing software because i just could import

well nintendo. back to flashing

It's kinda like steam and the whole "getting someone to buy it in another country where it's cheaper"

This sucks, I still haven't even seen megaman star force 2 on sale here =/

why would nintendo make a step backwards? the ds was region free and yet this is not, strange that, i am glad i am not buying one.

I won't believe this until I hear it from Nintendo. And how was the DS a step forward on this? I don't think even the original GameBoy was region locked.

. Sorry. But that's the view that Europe seems to have of megaman, they never sell. That's why you haven't seen it.

It seriously sucks for us. Most games we get here are the popular ones. I'm used to import my games so I seriously hope that this isn't true.

I hope everybody in Europe is getting ready to be fucked over.

Yea because Europe will definitely be the only one who is going to be fucked over...

Eitherway, itll be cracked soon enough (i hope) and when it does itll make me feel less bad about pirating

But I have no idea why they made it region coded, its the dumbest thing to do seeing as it actually makes people want to pirate even more and that for a gaming company who suffers the biggest pirating issues out of all the console creators

And the same was said with every other console... ok not true but they said the same with the PS3 and that got cracked eventually didnt it? And we are talking Nintendo here whose systems get cracked faster then Lindsay Lohan's make-up

When has Europe not been screwed over when it comes to game releases for new consoles much less existing ones? It's an everyday occurrence and nothing new.

The flash cart business is pretty big, and region locking will just increase interest. And yeah nintendo sucks when it comes to protecting their handhelds from piracy.

everything can be cracked. only thing that matters is time
it's been 4 years since ps3 is released, nd just now is the scene starting to flourish

Actually, because SF doesn't sell, i see them piled up on the shelves.
But in european region, we did not get SF3.

So when a system isn't cracked and you can't pirate you feel bad about being a pirate, yet when you suddenly can download all the games you so selfishly want you don't feel bad?

No I dont feel bad about being a pirate at all because I make grounded decisions on what to pirate (ie games from companies like EA and yearly released games like CoD)

But when a company decides to "lock" a system it is for me a reason to pirate because its ridicilous to force people to pay more then others, I mean look at Steam people are getting ripped off for no good reason. For example I download movies. Why? Because I travel between Europe and Australia alot and I refuse to buy 1 movie twice because of regionlocks on DVD's and BluRay's

First of all, it is stupid that you believe you even have a reason to pirate games. Second, you don't need to buy movies twice, especially seeing as most blu-rays are region free, and the fact that region free dvd players are like $20 here, but what do you care for logic, you just want something to complain about.

You think its normal that I pay 20 USD for a game whilst you pay 30 USD for the EXACT same game including same distribution?

And yea MOST Blu-rays are region free but not all of them so in my opinion I still have a valid point.
And I did buy region free DVD players. And you are absolutely wrong, I dont want a reason to complain. All I said is that I have a more valid reason to pirate. I dont pirate that much but some games for example japanese translated games, CoD games etc I will pirate and the reason why is because Id never buy it anyway

And like I said in the beginning, all this gives is a reason to not feel that bad about pirating.
