S, If I add this function to mGBA source will it stop crashing on the 3ds. Sorry if I sound like a noob and this is a stupid question.yuriks added a function to mGBA which he intended to use to debug the crashing, but it stopped crashing after he did that, so he is not able to debug the cause of the crashes without doing some further work. Hence, "Incoming Fun™" is sarcasm, because now he has to figure out a) the cause of the crashes and b) how to get them to recur so that he can identify their cause. smea jokes back that it sounds like the problem is solved due to the lack of crashing. This isn't really the case when programming a bug fix; if it works but you have no idea why, you haven't solved it and you'll have no way of knowing if or when the issue will return.
Basically, no, he didn't fix it, and smea doesn't think he fixed it either.

Only some games like Advance Wars work on full speed in O3DS. Most are playable but many games run close to full speed on N3DS due to its greater processing power.Apologies if this is a stupid question but is there a chance that this will work full speed on an O3ds?
cheers,
rr
Well, guess I will have to wait.@NCorp. Pretty much a "maybe". Without knowing why the crashes were occurring or what made them stop occurring, any "fix" will have some mystery rate of success. Even if you had access to yuriks's code--I doubt he pushed something he was doing to test the emulator to GitHub, so you'd need to guess as to what exactly he did in hopes of doing the same; besides which, you have no idea what else yuriks has changed from stock mGBA which might also be contributing--maybe it was just a fluke of his build environment or timing on his 3DS or any other number of possibilities and wouldn't work for anyone else. Or maybe it would work. You're pretty much better off waiting until the issue is solved through an understanding of what it is rather than as an accidental side-effect.
On rhythm tengoku gba doesnt work at full speed please fix itOnly some games like Advance Wars work on full speed in O3DS. Most are playable but many games run close to full speed on N3DS due to its greater processing power.

Probably a silly question, but does the link stay the same whenever the nightly gets updated? Like, a week from now, using the same link gets me the nightly from next week.Click here, and use that instead. It should crash less.

It's a shame that the only way to perfom good emulation is with Dynarec, homebrew in O3DS is such a waste.heh, guess GBA emulation on O3DS (using Ironhax on 10.0 at least) is still very far from enjoyable. That's really too bad, I've been looking forward to play some Breath of Fire or FFVI (GBA versions, not the SNES ones) on the go. But if it works well on N3DS, that's great for you guys.![]()

Press the X buttongot it... but what button do I press for full screen..
It's actually Y to toggle the different resolutions and screens. X pauses the game and also exits the emulator if no game is running.Press the X button
