Hacking 3DS makes earpiercing noise upon certain actions

Hi everyone. I was setting up RVerse, but forgot to enable game patching and was greeted with a loud, earpiercing noise (uploaded below). I tried again and was met with a corrupted sound. This has happened before; more notably once I left a DS game, this noise would play. If I got an error, the noise would return. Even updating made this noise trigger. I haven't seen this documented anywhere, and it only happened after I hacked my 3DS. If anyone has a fix or has experienced this issue, please let me know and if you were able to fix it.

My guess is that this is some sort of hardware fault, I can't think of anything software related that would cause this

That could be a possibility, this thing has had countless hours put into it, alongside several issues over the past 5 years.
