I think the only real controversial thing he said was, that he believes the 3DS to not be on par with the iPhone 3GS&4 graphically and therefore don`t want to support them with their engine...

I`m not sure what the 3DS is capable of yet but I sure do know, that the 3GS is not as powerful as the PSP or the Wii graphically and those two also don`t have a port of their engine. So that shouldn`t really count as an excuse for not having the intention of porting it over...

If he doesn`t want to support these systems he should just say it. I mean they basically did say that they just don`t want to support the PSP and Wii for no graphical-reason when they announced the IOS-port!

But still when I see that list I see why it would be nice to see a port of it (MassEffectI&II

Does epic make anything that would be worth the 3ds's time anyway?
Gears of War, for one thing. And a hell of a lot of other games use the Unreal Engine. Though they're mostly shooters.

Gears of War is Microsoft's property though, they'll be throwing that one out to other systems over their dead bodies.

Here's some notable Unreal Engine 3 games:

- Army of Two (both games)
- Batman: Arkham Asylum/City
- BioShock Infinite (BioShock and BioShock II run on 2-2.5)
- Borderlands
- Bulletstorm
- Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
- Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2
- Mirror's Edge
- Mortal Kombat (2011 game)
- Shadow Complex
- Singularity
- TC's Rainbow Six Vegas (both games)
- Unreal Tournament 3 (duh)

And some Unreal Engine 2/2.5 games:

- APB
- BioShock (both games)
- Duke Nukem Forever
- TC's Splinter Cell (all games)
- Unreal Championship (and 2)
- Unreal Tournament '03/'04
- XIII

Transformers: War for Cybertron was also developed using the Unreal 3 engine.

You know.. I'm happy to hear that. Nintendo Handheld games have their own distinct sprite based style.
I love my 2d or isometric games.

Fine by me, I dont want ports. As much as I loved some games using the engine to me they'll be just as good if they used other engines.

Of course it wont support it the 3DS is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay weaker than the iphone4 :3

Even the wii doesn't even have graphics like Citadel

Let me guess.....it's some kind of FPS gaming engine, right? Gee, like we don't have enough of that genre to last a lifetime.

Agreed. In any event, Epic has no original ideas that would merit a game for the 3DS or make use of its specific features, because they're just lazy. How much skill does it take to make a Quake 3, RE4, or Metroid clone? Not much, and that's what they've been doing with Unreal Tournament, Gears of Gore (War), and Shadow Complex. You can rip off other dev's ideas with better graphics all you like, but that doesn't make a good game.

Troll.
please ignore.

Yes, I've never developed for the PS3 and I don't know the specs, but my DS is more powerful than it!!!11eleven!one11

This is a FAIL, a waste of time. It's like if my top statement were entirely true (I really don't know the PS3 specs, though)
