Prefacing this thread with the fact I'm a complete noob on this topic. I bought a prehacked 3DS for ease of use, and it worked fine until it crashed while playing a specific game (Pokemon Black Version 2). Following this, I could no longer boot. Eventually I came across a thread that mentioned pressing power+select. After doing that I changed the autoboot from "3DS" to "Off" (also tried DSi with same crash). Now I've made it to the home menu, and every game says I don't have a forwarder. I understand I'm obviously missing a step, but without having done the process myself, I have no clue where to start. Can't launch twilightmenu as it also says it can't find the folder on my SD Card. So I assume it could also be an issue with the card. So, which options do I have?

A) What can I do to fix this as is or troubleshoot further to diagnose the issue properly?
B) If I were to simply buy a new SD Card or extract this one and troubleshoot, how can I fully reset my 3DS so I can freshly hack it? (need to buy sdcard reader and screwdriver set so this is suboptimal)

Thank you.

It's possible that DS-mode is bricked, install TWL Fix from the Universal Updater, then boot from your flashcart again.

If this doesn't work, then it's either down to a corrupted microSD card or a bad ROM dump.
