Few questions. I'm a noob at this, but not really a noob for forums so I know to ask my questions in one place

What do you mean exactly by 3DS mode? You said it's DS Mode hacked, but what do you mean? Do you mean 3DS games would still work if you downloaded it (Well when it comes out) but it will be displayed in 2D?

Also, what flashcard do you recommend? I hear lots of great stuff about AceKardi. However, for my regular DS Lite I used a regular R4DS and it worked great, especially when WOOD R4 was released. Anyways, back to my question, does the AceKard get updated as often as WOOD R4? I believe the maker of AKAIO is the same maker or WOOD R4 or something. I have also heard the update for 3DS compatible is coming out on the release of the European release. Is that true?

There's multiple carts that call themselves "R4i Gold", what did you get?

r4idsn doesnt work on 3ds either. tried wood r4 and official kernel, neither works. when inserted in 3ds, it shows up as alex rider, but once i try to run it i get a error occured message, telling me to power off the 3ds

got mine from ishopvideogame (its listed as a official reseller according to www.r4idsn.com)

Who can confirm that DSTT will work on 3DS?

DSTT is pretty outdated so I wouldn't count on it but then again I don't own one.... I'd Wait a bit to see if they announce anything.

How about DSTTi?

Do you guys think it will work on 3DS? I haven't seem any new updated yet an they are not on anyone list for 3DS. I'm using one now on DSi will no problem on updated 1.4.1U firmware an wanted upgrade to 3DS.

You might want to remove the R4i Gold from the list of working carts.

I bought one because I thought it worked, but it turns out you need the "special" 3DS version.

+1. same here with R4ids.cn gold card. They won't release update for old card so they can make more on thier "new 3DS card".

@SoulSnatcher: I just came up with an idea regarding the "working carts" section: Could you possibly add an "Updatable loader: YES/NO" to the working carts? This way people can put them into perspective and not buy straight away a cart that could be rendered useless after an update. In other words, possibly separate updatable carts and non-updatable into separate sections?

Unless this 3DS-Mode is hack, you wouldn't be able to play 3DS roms period.

Although, I'm still wondering on something. What does the May update do? I'm sure Nintendo's going to make it more than just features, maybe a Streetpass bug fix, or a whole flashcart-destroying update.

• Internet Browser
• video-playing software
• ability to transfer your existing DSiWare downloads to the 3DS
• eShop
