Hi,
My red gateway card has stopped working and I do not have the blue one (was set up by someone else).
After reading that it was useless, I was wondering if there was a way to play/load games without having to purchase another card. I have a computer, but not much know-how with this stuff.
I have an old 3ds XL, and I am on version 4.5.-8E

The guide is very noob friendly. Take your time reading. Don't skip any steps and don't try to cut corners. With firrmware version 4.5 try the Soundhax path first. You don't have to delete anything on your SD and/or the console.

If Soundhax fails for whatever reason the next option is updating to latest firmware and use Seedminer.

If you have any problems please describe them as good as you can. Some friendly GBAtemp member will almost certainly be able to help you.

I would recommend you to update your console to the last OFW, do a backup of the contents of your SD card to your computer and follow the official guide. Once you update your console, follow the instructions from the Seedminer section of the guide carefully and accurately. There's no risks if you do everything accordingly.
