Keep in mind that those who have a 3DS may or may not be able to see in 3D that still want emulation.

Keep in mind that those who have a 3DS may or may not be able to see in 3D that still want emulation.

Couldn't they theoretically disable the 3D with the 3D slider?

You can also do it on a DS (Lite) without hardware mods (you'll need to either cut off a small section of the 3DS game card or else take the game board out of the card and put it into a regular DS game card, but neither is much of a big deal, and the second should be easily reversible).

And how does one do that? If I can use my DS Lite I won't bother to buy a dongle.

Never mind, you're right. I may not be able to see 3D effects, but how fun the games are what's important. Region free gaming and emulators are I all care about when it comes to the 3DS hack; I couldn't care less about downloading 3DS ROMs.

Honestly I personally would prefer a rom loader release over a cheat engine release because there WILL be people who cheat online and ruin other people's games.

Piracy is one thing.
Cheat engines are another thing. The last thing I want with the 3DS is people ruining fantastic online games with cheats.

yes i use cheats sometimes in single player, cause you can explore the game so much more, and play it in a different way. but never online, online is for challenge,no cheats!

I really havent touched my 3DS in about 5 months. I havent really been up to date with whats going on with the 3DS. Do you think I should update (I cant really remember what FW im on but I think its the 3rd first update for the 3DS EU)?

Sucks that there is a limit to liking because I would like that post over and over again, especially the 2nd bit!! I'm not interested in 3ds roms, what I hope is to see how capable this thing is with emulators and while it might be nice, I see 3D being added to old games as more a bonus than something to look forward to.
