I think what I want most is an N64 emulator that actually works. Kinda like this:
Having a handheld N64 would be so awesome.

Well I would but we all know how my last thread turned out....NO N64 EMULATION IN HERE.
Open up a "N64 on 3DS speculation thread" or something, but, PLEASE, don't crap up this thread with "can X emolaet Y" stuff. Thanks.
That's why we need separate threads for "hot" arguments. If they turn to crap, I can just close/delete the thread and that's it.Well I would but we all know how my last thread turned out....
It wouldn't at all, the PSP can barely handle easier to emulate games like super Mario 64. However, due to the 3DS' dedicated GPU, you might have a bit more luck. I wouldn't wish such a undertaking on anyone to program it. I wonder if Rydian could enlighten us with his knowledge XD

How would you dump the NAND?But.... Will it Blend? (This is a joke btw)
So anyways, I wonder how I could replicate/ search for the exploit myself. I wish I had a guy like neimod to take me in as a apprentice XD Would be so much fun. Already starting to make plans on dumping my NAND of my 3DS (yes, I know they're encrypted and practically useless) to gain some experience...
I like that idea.
It takes a bit of involvement. You need to know where the pins are on the the board to physically and you have design your device to attach to the pins. Here's a good idea on how one person approached a different NAND. http://spritesmods.com/?f=had&art=ftdinandHow would you dump the NAND?

I've already said that it would currently be useless. I would only want it for later and it would be a excellent learning experience. One has to start somewhere when it comes to real "hacking". I don't feel like leaching off people like neimod or yellow8, I want to work with them XDAnd what does this achieve
Does it let you put some special files onto your computer for editing and stuff?
@Fores
I dont think Grezzo used an emulator to make Ocarina operationnal on the 3DS.
They re-coded all the game.
Clues : It runs at 30fps, so the music needs to sync at the same speed.
3D Shapes have been re modded + textures are new
If it was a Rom on an Emulator, how the game would take in charge the 3D + the movements
No it's defo not a N64 rom re-coded. They probably used some bit of codes of the original game but defo not the orginal game itself
I'm pretty sure the most old us to stop talking about this, but as a quick note, I'm pretty sure it does. Too bad we don't really have a way to measure it. (it may display 30 FPS, but it's rendering 60 due to the 3D, pretty sure)Correct that for you. It is in no way 60 fps, that would be way too fast.
somebody can say me something about this video?
the 3ds is aparently hacked
and he is playing a rom!
