Had my SD get corrupted so I bought a new card.
I had some errors in the Nintendo 3ds folder of the SD
Anyone know where I can find all my games save data on the old SD?

Game saves are located within ecrypted save folders of each game. If that 3ds folder is done, then there isnt going to be any way to get those saves unless they were previously derypted using jksm or checkpoint.

Can you be more specific?

This is why I always suggest copying files with Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier, because it will get as many files as possible and also specifically identify which files can't be copied.

If you're lucky, the only problematic files will be game data that you can just re-install.

Not sure what gave you that idea? Decryption isn't a problem as long as the system hasn't undergone a System Format or a System Transfer. The ID0 stays the same otherwise.

EDIT: Oh, you mean that Checkpoint and JKSM would store their save data outside of the Nintendo 3DS folder and would thereby be preserved if the Nintendo 3DS folder was completely corrupted. That makes sense.

So I had 2 sector go bad on the card
I have tried to recover as much as I can from it.
the TITLE folder inside Nintendo 3DS folder is in the worst shape.
any Idea what folder in the Nintendo 3DS folder holds the dave data?

Thanks!!

Iirc, savedata is in the saves folders. There's a separate one for each app or game, I believe.

What did you do? How did you determine this?

The "title" folder contains practically everything! If you had two sectors go bad, then you would have problems with at most exactly two files! If you followed the instructions in my last post you should be able to identify those two files!

As per the other post, every game stores its data in its own folder. Some games also store "extdata" elsewhere on the SD card. To identify which folders correspond to a particular game, you need something like https://hax0kartik.github.io/3dsdb/ .

It would be much easier to identify the corrupted data and work around it instead.
