3DS Game gone like magic. need help

Hello. I was wondering of there was any help for my issue. i was downloading a .cia file to my 3ds (it worked). all of the sudden I go to try to find my game on my 3ds home menu and its gone, completely. I have no issue getting the game back but its the save data. its really important to me. i was wondering if there is a way to recover that data. any app that i can use on the computer or something? please let me know

Do not reinstall the CIA. This will wipe the save beyond recovery.

You just installed this game and you already have an important save on it? You didn't have a backup that you restored once you installed it?
Nevertheless, does the game appear in Checkpoint? You can create a save backup if it is. Otherwise, use faketik if the game ticket was somehow deleted, restart the system and see if the game appears on the home menu.
You can also check in fbi, under titles, see if the game is still installed, don't uninstall it or reinstall the cia over it. Be warned.

Did you have any other games installed to your SD card? Are all of the games on your Home menu gone (aside from Face Raiders and other pre-installed titles) ? Or is it just this one that disappeared?

It is possible to manually decrypt SD card data on a PC, but it is somewhat inconvenient to do so, and it won't help if you have other problems.

hello! sorry for the confusion. i was looking to play a dif game from the one i installed. yes it did appear in checkpoint. i had too many icons on my home menu. i deleted the unused ones and the games that were deketed came back instantly. but yeah everything is fine now the save was in my sd card but not showing. thx for your concern tho all is okay now

Does that mean you couldn't delete any games? Because that definitely suggests your SD card is going bad.
