Hacking 3DS flashcard question

Hi, i'm pretty to new to just about everything, I have owned a ds lite in the past and was pretty familiar with my r4 a few years ago. But now i picked up a 3ds xl and i've been doing some research on these 3ds hacks. For starters, I have seen a card called Crown3DS which is currently being developped. I followed the site for a few days and then I noticed they haven't made any progress since 2011. I found out that 3DS R4 cards only work with regular ds roms. I've owned this 3ds for about a week now and only have 2 games. Of course the games cost money and I can't afford each and every one of them.
So for my question, is there any flashcard that i'm missing out on ? or is there one being developped?
I apologize if there are already posts on this, I didn't take my time to look around because I want a direct answer. Thanks in advance!

Crown3DS is fake, and yeah only ds flashcarts work and nothing plays 3ds roms, sorry.

The mods have to make a page for users who click on the 3DS section that says "Nothing plays 3DS roms. Click here to continue"

That or if they still make threads, start handing out warnings or bans. It's getting stupid the amount of threads that are popping up.

The 3DS is not hacked nor will be (while we are talking about this nintendo puts up a party and say's they've done it!)

As previously stated, no card or emulator can play 3DS ROMs.

I personally believe any type of software (whether emulator or flashcart) that can play 3DS ROMs will not appear until early - mid 2013.

Google Chrome let you edit the HTML code on the fly.

and this is why the original crown thread should have just remained open,less work for mods , but then again im sure there would still be people creating new threads
