Check http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Extdata#NAND_Shared_Extdata Look at the description for 0xf000000b. It says it contains "clear text Mii's". Does the mean we can hex edit it or something?
Making a play coin setter now.![]()

One already exists. For Gateway and CN/NH

"System apps with a certain access right can mount arbitrary extdata."
Does this mean we could make a "system" app and modify all of the extdata via GW?

That MIGHT be a big thing! Remember on the Wii, those special colored symbols? http://i349.photobucket.com/albums/q364/MikeYoshi/all_symbols_highquality.pngI have no idea. But when i open my CFL_DB.dat in notepad, i can edit my mii's creator and name

EDIT: For some reason, after editing the names and retoring the CFL_DB.dat file, the name restores to normal. And when i re-dump the CFL_DB.dat, the names also revert THERE too.

Maybe we could do this for 3DS!
Yeah, I'll look further into this tonight. You said it reverts? Probably because we need something like the "enable theme-cache" like on the Theme extracter.Yay ive accomplished somefin'!

Just making sure- are you sure you correctly edited the Miis name?Right. When i modifiy the names in CLB_DB.dat and restore it onto my DS, the names do not appear different in Mii Maker. And then if i re-dump the CLB_DB.dat, it does not evem mantain the edited names.

Okay, I see. But aren't miis linked to NNIDs? Maybe if it sees an edit thay isn't supposed to be there, it goes with the NNID Mii snd overwrites it?Yup. thats what ive been doing. And for every real space there are 3 spaces. Like Bewtween Rainn W

That is interesting. If we renamed CFL_OldDB.dat to CFL_DB.dat and CFL_DB.dat to CFL_OldDB.dat, the edits would take effect.I've found something interesting. If i modifiy CFL_OldCB.dat the same way, It deletes my Mii's. Strange.
