Hello, I lost all of my titles on my home screen, I have diagnosed it as a corrupted database, as NDS titles still remain. I have heard of homebrew called Faketik, which will generate fake tickets to make your titles reappear. However, my PC's SD Card slot is worn out, and all my 3DS FTP Servers were .cias, I never thought to get a .3dsx one in case. Now I do not have a way to transfer files over. What could I do here?

You can try faketik, not sure if it would fix your problem.

Ucan try to copy small files over per ftp.
To install bigger cia files u can use fbi and scan the QR Code of the file wich will be downloaded and installed directly.

ftp the 3dsx faketik to your 3ds, then use the homebrew browser. the cia is probably small enough as well, but don't ftp big files, or at least I wouldn't. the 3ds wifi sucks.

Like I said, I don't have any usable FTP clients, all of mine were installed via .CIA. However, I did try the 3ds built in FTP, but it won't let me copy any files over, only saying 'access denied'.

That suggests your SD card is failing and faketik is not going to help you. There's really nothing you can do at this point without some kind of SD card reader. USB SD card readers are indeed quite cheap.

Once you are suitably equipped, copy everything off the SD card with Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier. Get a new SD card, format it, test it with h2testw, and copy everything back, and that should be enough to fix the problem.

I should add that if you have a New 3DS, then you can use microSD Management to transfer files wirelessly, but that's really not very helpful at the moment. Is that what you meant by "3ds built in FTP"? Because I have no idea what else you might be referring to.

You can access the SD card wirelessly using the 3DS built-in SD card management system and Windows. There are several guides. FBI will also let you manage files on the 3DS directly if you don't need to copy anything on or off the device.

Scan the QR code of Universal Updater (if you don't have it installed) in FBI, then run Universal Updater and search for faketik, and ftpd (here's how to use it).
If Fbi is also missing from the home menu, you have to use Rosalina Menu to switch the Homebrew Loader to any app, then click on Fbi (if you have the 3dsx file) and do the above. Otherwise you're stuck, until you get an sd card reader..
Also as some have already stated, running faketik will not solve your issue, because you should question what caused the issue in the first place and not how to repare the damage, and that's most likely the sd card. You can do that once you know for sure the sd card isn't faulty..

Either get an SD card reader that plugs into your PC via USB or get an SD card reader that will plug into your smartphone to transfer files. Or if you phone allows internal SD cards, put your SD card in your phone and download files to that SD card.

I would recommend custom install (for the case you can't transfer the files via ftp). This is a python script which lets you install the games MUCH faster than fbi via qr (or via installing from sd).

That would still require an SD card reader, which the OP doesn't have.

It would also require a functional SD card, which the OP also doesn't have. >_<
