Ahhh, somebody I respect. THAT could be logical Rydian and I HOPE that is what it is. However, not replying to messages then saying no images will be shared? The fact that images won't be shared would piss me off had I donated. Same group of people who don't deliver and are all talk with no follow through.

It's a fund raiser. You aren't supposed to get anything, its charity. And they didn't take money and not deliver to the cause. They are still trying to reach the amount needed to support the cause. Again showing what an entitled brat you are.

most of us interpreted the no guarantee as a potential for no progress made whatsoever. It was entirely a risk we had to take. However, we didn't think the no guarantee bit meant that we could be scammed. We were slightly mislead.

Dear Devin. I have some news for us, along with a question.
Neimod said Jl12 only updated the donation page (that one on n-dev.net) and he updated why on 3dbrew.
That is only a correction of calculation and no news or progress. haven't sent 3ds yet.
The original plan for releasing those SEM images is "Top X".
Even it would get leaked someday from someone, but it is not allowed lol.
That sounds quite disappointing to me..
Also Neimod would not take over the job, still for Jl12.

Now the question:
Someone even thought you had kept the cart about nearly 1 month (lol~~~)
I know we are all waiting for those "coming" updates about that.
Any prediction you made about the date you get that cart? Thx.

--I did not donate, nor do I own a 3ds. If people are paying for a service, why does nimrod and others want to keep it to themselves? 2. There might be legal issues associated with publicly releasing the images onto the internet. If they can't afford 2.3K, what makes you think they can afford legal fees if Nintendo decides to go after them?

reading the sem images is somehow difficult for those who don't like to learn.
even i would not be offered the image, i would spare again, a little.
since no access valid except Paypal for me in china i would wait for jl12's confirmation to donate --
that is, i don't know his paypal account is still valid or not.
(if most of you guys like hacking - right - you, it might already be hacked through. lol)
(can not even imagine a team with 500 persons recover the circuit from images.. lol)

Dear, please calm down. No need to be angry about that.
If you really hate such things, you may better learn how to hack using hardware methods.
At least.. even they can not share what you want, they may share how to get it --
If you want to learn badly, no obstacles would be there (except $ and facility).
Sharing may cause lawsuits or even more severe problems. So many stay independent with getting other's material.
That is just cause this decapping really cost too many for a single person and they tried to found donators to help.
If you can prove that you have the ability and you can be trusted, you can contact them for that.
Gladly i think someone would even share you a copy securely. (well but i can not be sure if your ability seems to be "not enough").

I've already understood their choice. and i still told jl12 via email about that.
and this taught me not easily put a fundraiser. (what i ever dreamed of found one and pay for a memory sniffer.)

I'm pretty sure the reason everyone donated their hard-earned cash was to "get" a 3DS decapped. If the OP didn't deliver, or is changing figures around, people have a valid right to be concerned.

Its amazing how many people jump on the bandwagon as soon as they think stuff goes sour, and the funny part is the most active complainers have nothing to do with this.. When we donate to causes like this, as adults we know the risk associated and most people know patience, from the start it was around 2000 plus taxes and possibly also cost of donation 3ds, just cause people have real lives and dont update stuff for a while, shouldnt be read into, I never read "the second we hit whatever you think the goal is, we will update progress, if we dont means we scammed you" After all people did donate, with some not realising what a donation is , once people start bringing their own personal expectations and views into it the thread it just derails, considering its only really been active since the complainers found their way in to spin talk about being scammed, like we are in the playground at school and you have lost your pokemon cards or something

Yeah, I woke up this morning considering a 3ds replacement cost being in there would be more than fair. Imagine losing your system for this process? I understand the rest of the new messages. Sincerely I hope this works out. People should understand the risks. The convo somebody shared from neimod mentioned a second round of fundraiser? Curious is all that question was. Vat is stupid as there is no "value added" roflmao. Even after info is received from the lab this takes time.

Now that the final $300 has been donated, I think we can all agree that we should just wait until it goes through, and then wait a little more for an official response.

Please don't chargeback until a second official response is heard; if people do that before it goes through we'll have to start over from square one.

I keep making long post that I later regret... Basically you are the douche bag I been telling these people run this scam or grift. There is no reason to donate money to douche bags such as your self if you are going to keep uping the price. Which was clearly 2000 dollars don't deny it with the lazy use of quotations. Who exactly are you quoting anyways? Aren't I already in a quote box?

Also I had said I think the fundraiser was a good idea, I even gave some suggestions to spruce up the donate page. Then I looked into you guys realized you are all real douche bags that do not deserve money for diddling with a DS.

Goto http://n-dev.net/ peruse through the forums you will find the great majority are douche bags. The thread was started in November since then the gateway 3ds thing has more of chance of coming out. They can pay the tax themselves, or Yamadouchi can front it.

Either way I know it erks you but I did not donate, I would never donate to a worthless cause as this one was brought up. I think every one should CHARGEBACK and donate to the guy who made adblock at least he will write you a haiku.
