Hardware 3DS cradle flap

Does anyone else find that the little flap at the back of the 3DS' cradle is almost impossible to open without actually taking the 3DS out, and that once you have opened it, it is difficult to get the cartridge out without actually lifting up the 3DS?

Sure, it is difficult, though I don't see why you would want to leave it in the cradle and swap games...
Now the Circle Pad Pro... that's more of a frustration.

I don't want to, I just think that flap seems pretty useless. Unless they are allowing room for a future peripheral, like a big cartridge or something...

I've noticed that; I'm not even entirely sure why it's there. It does help to be able to put the stylus in if it's open and I don't lift it, however.
