Can't get it working. I have vjoy, the same port, the same IP, but the 3ds just has a black screen and I can't control my PC. I can still bring up the keyboard though, which also does nothing.

The 3ds is so uncomfortable, why would you want to use it for a controller?

You can get quality generic controllers for like $10 and they are usb based so no charging.

For GBA / SNES / DS / 3DS emulation in upscaled resolutions with native controls

Mow a lawn/shovel a walk/driveway. This whole "I cannot afford $10 game pad" is stupid.
You could easily convert a single lawn mow or shoveling into $10+.

Any plans for a dmg for macOS users?
Get a good computer, throw away that POS.
You could also try WINE.
