Hardware 3ds circle pad lubricant.

My 3ds xl circle pad feels gritty when moving it around.
I have tried cleaning it but it didn't do anything.
I have seen that some people recommend silicone grease.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Silicone grease or a dry lubricant. Avoid any kinds of oil or regular grease.

I replaced mine with a new OEM circle pad a couple years ago after trying different solutions. I can't remember exactly how long it took to install, but I remember it being fairly simple. Was worth it.

OEM circle pads are pretty hard to come by nowadays. The circle pad I'm having problems with is a OEM replacement I got a few months ago, too late to return it unfortunately.
