Am I missing something, or do you mean smea's exploit? That is either not being released or will be released when improvements are made, and the decapping would have helped with this (unless 3dbrew done mapped everything idk?).

The whole thing seemed sketchy the entire time to me. First, they want people to donate such a large amount of money to something that shows very little evidence to support their cause, and when they finally reach their donation goal, they say "oh yeah, we need $300 more."

I'm just saying it seemed like a scam to me the whole time, but that really proves it if they don't know what they're going to need before they say it. I feel bad for all the people that donated.

Others vouched for the fund publicly. When I asked Megazig vouch and others to vouch/cover money donated if they believed it was genuine...he vouched in pm. I took him at his word knowing he told the truth about Wii U stuff before. Thread closed and I was wondering what happened. People laughed but maybe it was appropriate apprehension? I still hope it was not a trick. He would not vouch in public, he did not say he would return contributions either...but he did vouch for the ones who vouched for this guy behind the fund (Megazig).

Regardless, go by reputation in the future. Dan Rosenburg with Android delivers and does not burn anyone...last I checked anyway. If Marcan started this fund it may not be shady. I believed Megazig, so I look forward to the end game of this. Good luck guys.

I don't get the reference. Ukey team is known. Those guys will talk with people. Obviously the carts are real. Personally, I've flamed megazig and others. I gave it up. If he and his buddies vouched that is for the donating members to decide on credibility. I don't trust them at all. EBay gives % of trust basically. Amazon does a similar thing for sellers. Over the internet, based on hope...not for me to do. No offense, but my wife said, "Idiots for trusting random people on the internet."

the group they were going to use for the decapping service was EAG... and I've found this page...

I wonder if the decapping group never got further than that page and just decided, fuck it, change of plans, lets just take the money.
