I was browsing throught the GAME australia website and saw these cases (towards the bottom):

Which one would you choose:
3DS Executive Case
3DS Expedition Case
3DS Explorer Starter Kit
3DS Flex Case
3DS Hard Case
3DS Mini Transporter Case
3DS Trendsetter Case

Probably the Executive case, since it's sleeker than the others, but none of them really look amazing. I'd like to see the Hard Case, but there isn't a pic. It all depends on whether you need a case for travel, or for storing at home. I usually end up with at least two cases per handheld.

I already have a case. It's called my pocket.

Honestly, the exterior doesn't get scratched/damaged that easily.

You still want to keep it from scratches/damages as much as possible.

Some future case may extend battery or be made to hold your games as well as play.

Or cases that recharge battery.
Thats a pretty good idea actually.
A case that you put some AA or AAA batteries into, or charge it apart from the 3ds, then as the 3ds is in it and you're carrying it around itll charge it for you.

That I'd buy.

I don't really see the point of cases. A skin or cover (like those NERF things) I can understand. Extra safety and good looks.

If I was going to get one of them I think it would be the Executive case as I like the more mature design. To be honest I think most of the others look like they are for kids, who would probably need them more anyway as they are more likely to drop or damage them in some way. I usually like the cases because they can store my games and any other peripherals (earphones, extra styluses, SD Cards, etc) so they don't end up getting lost.

I like this for battery recharges on the go.

However, I usually don't use cases. A few exceptions being the metallic outside shell for the Lite.
