) the placement of the heaphone port is dumb though. also am i the only one mad about the fact that the 3d screen is so much larger? also they NEEEEEED! to choose between a D-Pad and an analog stick. PLEASE only one!

Well, the d-pad could be used as four extra buttons. If the 3DS has a virtual console system and N64 is emulated perfectly, then the D-pad can be used as the C buttons on the N64 controller.

Some images of the prototype game cards, game boxes, and some new colors you may not have seen. First of all, here's a look at the new game cartridge design for 3DS games-

So where do they store the magic? Is it in the little nub?

I'd love to get an orange one, that would kick ass. Maybe they'll do it GBC style and actually release several cool colors that people like...

i think nintendo is making a HUUUUGE mistake only putting one joystick on the thing

I hear this whining constantly. if you want to play an FPS, play it on a damned console. There is no need for another analogue stick specifically for one genre of games.

They call the other joystick "the touchscreen".

It is a problem for left-handed people though, but that said, Nintendo didn't care about left-handed people with the DS Lite and the DSi (XL) either, because the stylus is on the right hand side.

Really beautiful!
Some of the colours look a little tacky for my liking? I think I may just stick with the orange.

Or maybe I'll just wait for the '3DS lite' to be released.
