The brick doesn't brick your SD card, it bricks your whole 3DS console. Just download 3.3B firmware and replace the launcher and your good to go thats it.

To be safe from bricking either download 3.3B or 2.0; they are the same thing. The only thing you need to do to update is replace the launcher.dat file. No wiping neccessary.
